Who can I remove the nicepage "edit page" button on the right top corner, on the front-end of a published webpage ?Found it.
A joomla connection session was hanging on my local system. Therefore the edit button was present on the frontend.
After killing the hanging process manually the button was gone.

I am signed out on the Joomla back end, and I have held shift while refreshing the page, but the N Edit Page button is still visible on my homepage.

Please provide a link to the page where you see it so we could check if it is visible for us. Also you can try it on some other computer where you are not logged into the Joomla back end.

It's still visible to me in Firefox even when I'm logged out. It is not however visible in Chrome on the same computer, nor is it on my iPad or iPhone. Seems to be something cached in my computer for Firefox for some reason. It's not bothersome, so I'm not going to worry about it at this time. Thanks.

The button is visible in every web browser, when in the administration panel while editing the article we use "Edit with Nicepage". In my opinion, it is for you to correct.

The Edit button is visible in the frontend only when the user is logged into the admin panel of the site in this same browser.
