Hi,
Could you please define when the future is? A day? A week? A month? A year?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with the date it timeline yet.
I added the language selector in Joomla for UK and NL. In the J3 template I had a position Flags defined in NicePage. How can I do that in NicePage in J4?
The Position element in Joomla 4 works the same as in Joomla 3 themes.
Nicepage does not provide any specific styles for this Joomla module.

Finally, somebody did it. I have a month or two left on ultimate subscription on Nicepage. If they don't add it until then, I will leave.
At least with joomla and nicepage it's already possible. I've done it. Requires a small workaround but it is possible
- somewhere in your nicepage header, place an empty module position (i name it "language-switcher")
- create your pages in nicepage for each language
- setup joomla with multilanguage functionality
- import your template & content
- add the proper menu items for each language menu
- reset the "default" home menu back to what it was (it gets changed by the extension if you import menu's
- done
Almost all possible with workaround and custom coding :)
But need native support, with styling of "Language Switcher" (as dropdown, inline, popup etc.).

Hello Hella. Do you have any idea if that is someting you will be able to handle "short term"? In other words - should I "wait" one month for the next updata or just go ahead and manually create a new copy of our website in English?
