Ask a Question

Hello there,

For years now I'm a user of the Ultimate plan from NicePage and I would like to know how to HIDE the pre-designed templates from Clients.

In resume, I need some clients to have access to the sketches but not the pre-made designs.

This is specially evident when you click on "New Page" from the Editor plugin, where you are promptly presented with everything Nice page ever designed.

This behaviour from the plugin dilutes the work done by designers and makes it hard to justify the work done on websites when the clients themselves have access from everything by default.

Cheers,

João,

While Label works for your clients in WordPress and Joomla while editing pages with the Plugin, for your Site Settings, you can set that your user will only edit content and will not see the Editor.

Hello there and thank you for your prompt answer.

The problem with this solution is that there are no "middle ground". Or you can edit everything, or only the content.

Some clients would like to make adjustments on their own, add a block or 2, etc.

The pre-made sketches under the "Blocks" section are perfect for that because they follow the overall design that was agreed before and give the necessary freedom for the end client to make small adjustments in the layout without getting confused about 10000 fully developed different other projects that are presented in front of them.

But right now clients have access to the whole suite of templates and pre-made designs from Nicepage and this is far from ideal from a business perspective and the continuity of the service provided by designers that use your product. In the end, it "cheapens" the work provided by designers.

So, is there a way to restrict the "Design pages and edit content" section to ONLY the sketches, NOT the fully designed pages and blocks? If you have doubts about what I mean, I can provide screenshots .

Thank you.

João,

We have understood, what you meant, however, unfortunately, there are only 2 options for now. We have added your request to our wish list and counted your vote.
