Not a big fan of animations as in most cases they are just to look clever and add no value to the content. I'd much prefer work on getting a better fully functional form for HTML.

Why do not include it immediately as a block, so we can test it and then you can update it according to user's feedback?

Hi,

The custom code solution is not a proper way to include the feature into the application, it needs more development, testing and so on, so we have provided that manual solution for those who can deal with the code.
The option is still in our wishlist.
