Can you build a vertical menu in Nicepage

After searching for the vertical menu option myself, I just found a workaround.

Create a main menu item and then put the rest of the horizontal items as subitems of the main item. They become vertical.

The only issue is that the submenu is always hidden until hovering over the main item. But this can be changed by Nicepage team, can't be? Just add an option to always show the first submenu level ;-)

At this moment we do not have another application in development and
plans to develop a new application. Therefore we do not plan to close
the Nicepage project in the next 3-5 years at least. The development
of the new application requires at least 2 years without planning.

Hope this plans will be.... as we need pro template builder as Themler, not only content builder. You can make really great things, Artisteer and Themler show that it's true. New software can be real game changer, like Elementor. I'm sure, that you can develop even more powerful tool. Hope your team will grow up.

At this moment, we do not plan to implement the Vertical Menu feature as it is not really popular on modern websites. But this request is on our wish list.

Sorry if there some misunderstanding. I'm not provide false information, there is only my opinion based in statistic and own expiriance as I'm with you more than 10 years, since Arsiteer.

Where do you get this information from?

Artisteer: 2008 - 2015 (7 years) - now is closed
Themler: 2015 - 2022 (7 years) - now is more dead then alive
Nicepage: 2017 - ????

You speak about Themler same words: don't plan to stop development. But check out forum - your customers waiting for answer more than 2 weeks. J4 Beta released almost 1.5 year ago and stable half year ago - still no stable update from Themler side, no ETA. I'm not stating, but I'm guessing than same can be with Nicepage.

We have created Nicepage according to the numerous requests from our Themler users including yours.

Seems that Themler users asked for simple tool for content creation and some topic was posted on Themler forum about this (Survey: Content Editing) and moreover - this tool started to develop (please see screenshot below). But then plans changed and you considered to create completely new software.

You develop Nicepage - page builder for content creation. It's very limited for template development. And as you many time said: this is completely different product.

As result, we have page builder, but don't have template builder like Themler (Themler itself it quite old and can't be used in 2022).

There is many examples where Themler much more powerful and useful then Nicepage... well, Themler better almost in all, except of content creation and old code base that slow down website and decrease SEO scores.

Now there is numerous requests from Themler users for Themler 2.0: Themler 2.0 with Bootstrap 5 and support only two CMS: Joomla 4 and WordPress 5 - 42+ votes for now. For Content Editing software voted only 17 customers.

Please correct, if there is mistakes and sorry if so.

Thank you for your answer.
In Nicepage I was looking for the vertical menu so that I can choose in Joomla for the option v-menu.
I enclose the screenshots from websites I want to rebuild in Nicepage. They were made in Artisteer where this was an option.
I would hear from you in what term the vertical menu will be build in Nicepage, for I see on the forum this is a wish for almost 4 years.
I hope it can be soon, because I have to update all my websites to Joomla 4 and Artisteer will no longer use the Joomla update system. I can't tell my clients its a long-term wish from my program builders.

We are sorry to hear that you have problems using Nicepage. Unfortunately there is no Vertical Menu control still and it is in our wishlist. We do implement a lot of modern and useful features that are not present in Artisteer and also are not available in Themler. And regarding the import issues and questions about positions in your theme, could you please explain in more details, what is not working for you? Some screenshots will be helpful and we would be glad to solve your problems.

Also Nicepage can be at the end of development cycle soon, as this company drop their products every 7 year (Nicepage is 5 year old) and new product can be already in development (I hope so).

Where do you get this information from? We have created Nicepage according to the numerous requests from our Themler users including yours. Nicepage is the only product we develop now and we have no intentions to close it as our users are happy with it and we only improve it further. So please stop spreading false information about our product.

Nicepage is content builder with "free-design" feature - you need to drag-and-drop and align all manually, and check every time responsive mode. But now Nicepage trying to change the course and make more options with grids.

Nicepage have lack of many options to be as simple as possible with clean UI. So there is no Vertical menu. Some features customers ask for 3-4 years with no luck. Also Nicepage can be at the end of development cycle soon, as this company drop their products every 7 year (Nicepage is 5 year old) and new product can be already in development (I hope so).

Meanwhile there is more advanced tool from Nicepage developers: Themler - there you can add vertical menu and even create megamenu. But Themler is more for template development, not for content. You can try to use Themler + 3rd Party Page Builder (Nicepage or SP Page Builder).

Themler is quite old, but more advanced and stable tool. We ask developers for new version, you can also vote for Themler 2.0 with Bootstrap 5 and support only two CMS: Joomla 4 and WordPress 5.

So if you need more professional tool with many options and possibilities, check out Themler.
