Dear ladies and gentlemen!
At the moment I use MOBIRISE for creating projects for customers.
The software has all possibilies I need for websites:

  • a simple drag and drop from some 1000 usefull and less usefull blocks
  • the possibility to edit the blocks with httml, java and css. Sometimes it is more usefull for me to edit code instead of digging arround in the userinterface
  • Including of third-party elements like databases & shops
  • Editing project-global html & css code
  • Editing all parts of the website (f.e. before !Doctype, start and end of body, head etc...)

I think, I asked a similar question some years ago. Maybe you have in the meantime something changed.

Ah... I forgot: I want so change my favourite Software because of the terrible software quality of Mobirise and the complete lack of a real support.In their forum are some more specialists, but we are all on the same level of knowledge, and the support... forget it.

I have worked with MOBIRISE for years - but when you need something more complex (i.e. web shop) - MOBI is useless.
Yes, you can buy a web-shop plug-in (from that guy - what's his name...) - but then you become dependent of the web-shop developer which is a one guy show.

Yes, you could also include the third-party web-shop platform - but you have to be a profi-developer to do that...

Nicepage is a great tool for making WordPress (or Joomla) ready websites (or standalone static HTML sites) - and then you have access to hundreds of free plug-ins and thousands of payed ones...

Yes, it has its "little bugs" (which software has not?) but the customer's service is very good - and software updates & bug-fixes are frequent (1-2 per month)

Thanks for your feedback, we are constantly trying to improve our service.

As for the questions you have, unfortunately we do not intend to provide such full customization options for editing the code. That is because we cannot guarantee that the code edits made by our users will be correct and that won't ruin the whole layout, we had such an experience with the previous software that we created. So we only allow to insert the code in the separate HTML and PHP elements on the page so they could be easily removed if caused any problems. Also the custom code can be added inside the Head section of the site so you can put external scripts and so on if needed.
