Post content cannot edit!

Hi, Daniel,

If I create a blog template and try to add a post I cannot edit the Post Content

If you mean editing the text, this is correct behavior. In Nicepage, you can edit only the design of the Blog Posts Elements such as Post Content. The content itself can be edited only in CMS (WordPress and Joomla) and in the Post editor in Nicepage Desktop (if you created posts in Nicepage Desktop).

Secondly according to this video when I try to add a post I do not have this Blog posts Beta-Missing in my extension. Could this be the reason am not able to edit!

You can easily add the Blog Posts Element in the Nicepage plugin for Joomla. Please see the attached screenshot:

Thank you for your quick response that is what I have been doing all the time even today since morning the entire day. There could be a problem elsewhere with my installation possibly.

I do that exactly however I cannot change anything on the post content either on the extension or on the joomla website.

I am wondering where to find the cause of the problem. More than a year I have failed to use the block in my website.

As I wrote above, the text in the Post Content Element cannot be changed, you can edit only the look of this Element (sizes, fonts, etc.).

I now understand, that's is why I cannot change the text on the post content from nicepage extension.

One more ask! so when I create page and it says' Edit with Nicepage, where can I go to add text? oh how can I add text to my post. Using articles only?

If I have reached this

lastly, Once you have created a blog template, do have to create post template too? If yes which controls the look of your posts?

Posts can be created and edited in CMS (WordPress or Joomla). Nicepage Blog Posts Element only displays the actual content of your WordPress posts or Joomla articles.

Once you have created a blog template, do have to create post template too? If yes which controls the look of your posts?

Blog and Post Templates are already included in the CMS theme. You can easily edit these two templates, and export your theme to WordPress or Joomla.

Dear Paul,

Am very grateful of your kind support.

I have made a U-turn in few minutes after clarifying on the editing queries. I spent a lot of time creating pages on nicepage but it would not show on the website. And vice verse each time you want to edit an article with nicepage instead it creates a new page total confusion for me. Thanks again.
