Ask a Question

In pdf embedded with shortcode in a site with a nicepage template, the links that are in the document are one line below the text of the link. see https://blog.mr-int.ch/?page_id=4986
This behaviour does not appear in pages not made with nicepage but with the Wordpress editor; see https://blog.mr-int.ch/?page_id=5021&lang=en
What is the solution?

In the mean time I had to modify the pages without using nicepage to embed pdf (the site is on-line) .
Nevertheless, a pdf embedded within a page prepared with nicepage (with shortcode) has the link area 1 line below the text that contains the link. See screen capture in the attachment.

The maker of the plugin WP-PDF just advised me to add the following CSS ligne for the specific page:
**.pdfembAnnotationLayer .linkAnnotation > a, .pdfembAnnotationLayer .linkAnnotation > a:hover {

margin-top: 0px !important;
margin-bottom: 0px !important;

}**

You may consider make a general correction about these margins in the nicepage system

Hi Michel,

It would be better to see the page with the issue. Or maybe you can use that code in your themes. And we can also take in account your solution for other possible users with this issue.

I just revived the page for your consultation: you can see it with the additional CSS code here: https://blog.mr-int.ch/?page_id=4986

Hi Michel,

Thanks for the link. If you want it, you can remove the spacing for the link in the theme. For that go to the Theme >> Fonts and find the Hyperlink in the sample text. Click on it and in the right panel set the Before and After spacing to 0. Also it can be the plug-in issue as I do not see any code from them declaring the 0 margin for the links so the plug-in could work correctly with any theme styles.

Thank you for the advice, but in my template, the hyperlink is already specified with 0 margins Before and After.

Hi Michel,

Are you sure about that? Maybe you could provide your project so we could check. In any case, you can use the code provided by the plug-in developer in your theme.

Hi Michel,

Are you using some cache plug-ins on the site? Maybe you could clear the site cache and that could help. The code is not present in the stylesheet of the theme.
