Ask a Question

Hello!
I'm looking for a program which I can make websites in to upload them on my website, because MUSE is out of the running.
On the Nicepage website I saw the option "'Export to static HTML website". I wanted to give Nicepage a try and downoaded it.
I'm trying to upload a site form HTML to my FTP server. It says the 'test connection succesful' when I'm trying the test location at my FTP settings. But when I'm exporting it, I don't see the site on my website.

Do you have any idea how I can get my website from Nicepage exported/uploaded to my website?

Kind regards,
Else

Else,

You can download Nicepage freely, and use it for 7 days with all features, even after that period, you can continue to use Nicepage Free Starter Edition to make HTML websites.

Thank you for your response, but I´m still not sure why it´s working or what I do wrong. It says the 'test connection succesful' when I'm trying the test my FTP settings/host. But when I'm exporting it, I don't see the site on my website.

Hi,

Did you try uploading the website to the specified FTP directory using any other FTP client like FileZilla?

Hallo Else
Depending on which hoster you are with, the target folder for websites can have a different name - it is usually "httpdocs". If your data has ended up in the wrong directory, you cannot see your website - find out where the data belongs

Hi,

Contact your hosting's support and check for the FTP access >> Export your website into HTML in ZIP format and upload to your hosting. Usually, it's public_html folder. Or try to transfer the files via File Manager from CPANEL on your hosting, if you don't know how, contact your hosting customer support.

Let us know if you require any assistance.

Thank you.

HIGHLY recommend filezilla! Its free. You can publish your site locally through nice page then use filezilla to transfer files to web directory.

You can use FileZilla with a third party host.
Not Nicepage host.

If you are using a third party host you need to get the ftp creds from them. Nicepage doesn't handle any of it.
If you are using Nicepage host, there is no ftp access. The sites are published directly from the desktop or web app.
