You are adding the plain text into the HTML tab >> Meta. That area is for inserting the meta tags in the HTML markup like:
<meta name content>
When you type the plain words they should be inserted under the SEO tab >> Keywords or Description.
When you add the plain text under the HTML tab, it is considered to be the code that goes straight to the area of the page and that is why you see the text on the page. When you add the words under the SEO tab, they are wrapped in the corresponding tags before being added in the area and then you do not see them on the page.
Please use the SEO tab for your purposes. Our developers will add a tip regarding the tags needed under the HTML tab in the future.
