Ask a Question

I have created a one-page website with the menu "sticky at the top". But when a menu item is selected, the first part of the section is hidden under the menu. How can I get it to work so that the section will not be partly hidden but will be completely visible when the menu item is clicked.

Here is my example:
https://mzmobileworkshop.co.za/

You will see that part of the section is hidden when the button is clicked.

Hi Christie,

Unfortunately, it's a common issue for one-page sites, when fixed header covers part of each section’s content.
The most simple way out is to add space to the top of each section.

Hi, Nicepage Team :)

I have a dumb question: How to add my own "anchor links with proper names" for sections and between pages so not to get confused?

Hi Luis,

I'm not sure that I understand you correctly. You mean that the section anchors are looking like the random numbers? You can set the desired anchor using the Section Anchor option in the Section tab for each section. Then this custom link will be used as the anchor in the menu when you choose to link to that section.

You can link to the block the photo is in.
Select the block you want to link to, and in the right column under Block Anchor, name it.
Then select the text on the other page, click the link, and under the Page radio button, use the full address, such as:
http://www.website.com/page_name.html#BlockName
