How to use Nicepage on Wordpress

I am confused on how to use Nicepage with Wordpress. I have looked at several videos and looked at some of the Forum posts but need more help.

I have an existing Wordpress site. I have installed the Nicepag application on my Mac and have created a theme I would like to use. If I upload the theme (without content) to my Wordpress site, will that theme inherit all of the existing content on my pages, or do I have to add all of the existing content into the Nicepage app on my Mac, and import the new content along with the theme? What happens to the existing content?

Can I create new pages of the Nicepage theme in Wordpress and then add content using the Gutenberg editor in Wordpress? What is the purpose of the Nicepage Wordpress plugin?

The Wordpress site already has a blog. Can I continue to use the Post feature in Wordpress to add new posts, or does everything have to be done using the Nicepage plugin going forward?

Also, if I create a theme using Nicepage, will Wordpress still create the associated content like archive pages, 404 page, etc., using the Nicepage theme, or does all of that now have to be created in Nicepage?

Hi,

You can create the Theme only. The Theme includes the Header and Footer design, typography and color settings, Blog and Post Templates, 404 Template, shop templates (Product Details, Product List, Shopping Cart if you use WooCommeerce extension) and also the possibility to create a custom template.

After the installation of the theme, it will be applied to all the site pages (if you do not have any other conflicting settings on your site). The content you have will be shown with the Nicepage template.

You can continue to use your content builder on the site. The Nicepage plug-in is used to create the content with Nicepage editor.

Yes, you can use the WP post editor to create posts for your blog.

You may need to differ the theme from the content. The theme is global for the whole site and the new pages with the content (you can create it using your editor or Nicepage plug-in) will be using the Nicepage theme.

Basically it works just like any other theme on your WP site. Please feel free to try the free trial to see how it works. You can use the free version of the desktop application to export the theme and see how it works.
