Ask a Question

I´m new in nicepage. Maybe these are stupid questions (sorry...)

I Startet creating a website with a newsblog-page. I use joomla. I created a template in nicepage and imported it into joomla (the addin also). It created a category „articles“ and the blog page shows all 6 pages.

a) if I click on a „read more“ link, the blog-article opens and my main menue and the page layout background etc is gone away. Where / how can I create the template for all articles in the blog ?

b) My bloglist page called „news“ i created with nicepage. If I create a new one with joomla, then the mainmenue is also gone. How can I fix that?

c) If I use the bloglist-page I created with nicepage, how can I do the layout setup I can do in joomla for the blog page?

Greetings
Bernd

Hello Bernd,

Thank you for choosing Nicepage!

Please go back to your desktop application and check once again your Post template.

Blog template is used to output the list of your posts(native Joomla articles), you can choose the layout, post count, image, and text settings. Please read more about here
Post template is used to output your native Joomla article with Nicepage Theme applied, you can see it after you click Read more button, this template you need to adjust in the same way as you did for the Blog template. Please read more about here.

Blog and Post templates are part of your Theme, can be adjusted with your desktop application only.

Joomla menu has its own module with a position called hmenu, you need to check it with your admin Joomla - Content - Site Modules - select module assignment on all pages, save and check your live site.
