Hello Carl,
Nicepage Header and Footer as page Template configuration apply the Theme settings that are saved inside your Joomla Extension.
When you export your Theme + Pages from the desktop application to Joomla, the Extension saves the Theme settings of the uploaded Pages. You can create the new page directly in Joomla with the plugin or turn to Nicepage any other Joomla article, the theme settings from the extension would be applied.
This option also works when you have any other Joomla Theme as the default one on your site, and all the other native Joomla pages will use Joomla Theme, except for Nicepage created pages.
Theme Header and Footer - Joomla default Theme would be applied to your Nicepage pages. Or newer or another version of Nicepage Theme would be applied to all the pages except for those created or uploaded with Nicepage plugin.
As a result - you will see one theme1 with the editor, and another theme2 for Nicepage created pages on your live site.
