Ask a Question

Hi,
I use the online extension in Joomla 4. I recently decided to try nicepage. I did a lot of work in the design and tried to publish, but don't get my site to show the new design. It does not give me any errors, but I don't see the pages just a 404 error page from Joomla.

I now decided to redo my whole site to get a clean start, but would like to save the work I have done, and recover it later.

Is their a way to do this in Joomla or nicepage?

Hi Nick,

Please explain step-by-step what you have done and what is not working. Maybe some screenshots and link to your site will be helpful.
If you have designed pages using the desktop application, they should be saved in your app. If you have used Nicepage plug-in for Joomla on the site, then there is no way to export this content to the desktop application.

Ok. So I have installed Joomla 4 on my server, I then installed nicepage extension in Joomla. I went into the nicepage front end selected a design, edited the design to my need and then published it.

It did publish it, but my site will not display the content to the public.
From what I could read, I should see the nicepage template listed in Joomla, but I don't. It just remain on the default Joomla logon.

Hi Nick,

You are probably mixing the content with the theme. If you have only installed the Nicepage plug-in on your site, then you can edit the content only. The page you have added and saved should appear in the Articles area.
If you need to create a Theme that will appear in the Templates list, then you need to use the desktop application, edit the theme and export it to your site.

I hope that the documentation will be helpful:

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
