Ask a Question

I am required to insert a registered trademark symbol in my text whenever the appropriate text from my national organization appears. However, I can't find a way to superscript the registered symbol, nor reduce the font size of the symbol. Being able to do so would greatly enhance the display of my text.

Is this possible or can it be added to a features list?

Thanks.

Try this press alt key then typing 0153 on the keypad, don't use numbers on top but use keypad ™

Thank you but that inserts the ™ mark, and I need the ® one. As you can see from this reply, I can insert the mark, but it does not superscript it. If I could easily modify the HTML, I would add a tag around it, but I'm not seeing that option in NicePage.

And, while I don't need to superscript it, it looks better (most of the time) superscripted and in a reduced font for that symbol.
Am I missing something that I can't seem to do either in NicePage?

Hi Pamela,

Unfortunately, there is no option to superscript the text in Text Control. However, you can use HTML block for your purposes.

Hi Nicepage Support Team,

it is absolutely important to be able to subscript and superscript characters/text in a text area - no matter if it's a title, headline or a textbox.

For instance, how will you create a headline like this "Carbon Dioxid" with its correct chemical formula (obviously "CO" plus a subscripted "2") in Nicepage? While I could use the key combination ALT+8322 in almost any Windows application (ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) it does not work in Nicepage...

Therefore, this is a severe issue and needs to be fixed asap.

Thanks,
Holger

Hi,

Thanks for your input. Your suggestion will be considered. Now you can use the HTML control for that.

Such useful to the point of being necessary text adjustments are available in Joomla and Wordpress (JCE, TinyMCE) why not implement something similar in nicepage for all text editions?
The purpose should not be to use HTML to edit long texts.

This is still no feature as of now, if I'm correct. Is this going to be a feature in the future?

Hello F Kraus,

Unfortunately, there are no updates on this matter. Meanwhile, you can use the HTML element when needed. Stay tuned for new releases!

Hey Nicepage, we pay you, we create websites for clients, the minimum you should do is have a software that works perfectly with basic requirent like superscript etc... just stop designing new templates etc... and concentrate on basic requirement.
