Report a bug

Contact form submissions do not work. Not sure why, the provided help articles are outdated and do not apply to the current form options:
https://nicepage.com/doc/4216/send-emails-with-nicepage-form
https://nicepage.com/doc/62334/send-emails-with-php-script

Why is the email option not working? How can I get it to work?
I can't find any information on how to get the URL option to work.
Mailchimp option is just for subscribers and not people submitting a message through the contact form.

Are the Contact Us blocks not already set up so it sends an email to the specified email address under Form >> Email >> (entered email) ?

Help please.

Hello Branden,

Thanks for clarifying.
Contact Form 7 Plugin is the one you should input with your Nicepage submit settings for WordPress.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.

^^^ To add to this, I was using the Nicepage editor plugin and saving, then viewing my live website (after refreshing) to see if the changes worked.

Only Contact Form 7 worked.

I fixed it myself. The customized template was exported as a wordpress file and uploaded to my website (I later installed the Nicepage plugin).

I couldn't get the default "URL" option to work no matter what I did or what contact form block I used.

What fixed it for me was using Contact Form 7.

I thought the URL option would be the default option that would automatically send it to whatever email I specified?
I think most of the page builders using Nicepage would expect the default setting to send the completed contact submission to an email they specify (and it work properly).

Anyways, overall happy with the fact I got this all setup successfully.

Hello Branden,

According to your screenshots, you are using a Contact form with an Online builder. Please publish your page first with nicepage.io to test your Contact Form.
Contact Form should be tested on the live page only, not the preview.

If you choose Email as an option for Submit - please add a blank block first and after add an Element Contact Form, then you can publish and test the form

If you choose URL as an option for submitting please follow the article - https://nicepage.com/doc/66444/send-emails-with-custom-form-action
If you choose Mailchimp for Submit, so your mail account must be serviced there, which is mentioned as Where to send in Form Submit settings.
Please follow the article about Mailchimp - https://nicepage.com/doc/2468/filling-mailchimp-list-with-nicepage-form-s-data

Let us know about the result with your Email function.
Thank you.
