Ask a Question

Is there a way to edit the content within the FAQ section that is in a blog post? right now since I have to export theme on Windows and reupload theme in order to change anything on a blog post, I have no way to import my websites content to windows NicePage or change the content of the FAQ without applying the same content to all blog posts

Hi Shay,

In Nicepage plug-in on the site you can edit the Pages content only. What do you call a Blog? If that is a Blog Template that is used on your posts page to show the Posts, then it can be edited in the desktop application only. Note. that it is a Template and if you need to edit the template only, change it in the desktop application and export the Theme only, that won't change your site content, only the theme.

Yes. in Blog I refer to post pages, yes I uploaded a blog theme I created via NicePage desktop application, but the content of the NicePage FAQ section for each post page I cannot edit since I cannot edit the content of the post in WordPress via NicePage.
SO the only option is to export the content of blog posts and import it into NicePage desktop application, make the modifications and then upload back to the WordPress.

Hi Shay,

Are you able to edit the posts using the default WP post editor? Please attach some screenshots explaining the problem.

Hi,

Do you mean that you added FAQ element to the Post Template or Blog Template in the Desktop application? Templates are parts of the theme. Therefore, the added FAQ element is a theme element too. Templates are applied to the specific WP pages: single posts, pages to blog pages. The FAQ element фаввув to the template is a static theme element, not the dynamic content element. It cannot be changed via WP admin panel and you cannot display different content in this element on different posts pages because the Template used for these pages is the same.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
