Ask a Question

I just created an account and tried designing a sample block and then exporting the html to see how that worked. It exported some files, but none of them are the html for the block that I designed. What am I missing?

I should add, this is what I'm seeing. So, it has the crown over the html option, but it does still let me click on the export button. Then, it downloads a bunch of files to my computer, as seen in the second screen shot, but none of them appear to be html code. I am using the desktop editor, which I've seen from other posts is what I need to use to be able to export html for free.

Yes, with the free Starter desktop app, you can export the site as html to a folder on your system like you did.
Those are the files to upload to your host.

None of those files give me html code though. That is where my issue is.

When you look at my first screenshot, you can see that the html thing has a crown on it, seeming to indicate that it is a premium feature, but everything I've been reading says that I should be able to export the html code from the desktop editor. However, when I export, I get a bunch of files and none of them give me html code.

I open up the file that says it should have the html text, and it opens into a web browser, and I can see a preview, but I don't see where the html coding that goes with the page is. See attachment. That's what I see, but no html code.

Hello,

We can see your screenshot, it's the right file and it contains all HTML of the webpage. Since you opened this file in the browser you see the webpage.
Please open the Home.html file by the click of the right mouse button on it >> open with "notepad" or any IDE and you will see HTML code.
Also please be aware that for proper visualization of your page CSS and JS files also very important.
