How can i make a custom page template in nicepage?

If you want to make a template that will be applied to the pages (not posts), make it on the Pages Editor on Nicepage. Also, every page on Nicepage is already a unique template. By the way, what exactly do you want? Could you please explain it in more detail?

Hi Paul, thanks for getting back to me.
Basically, I mean the same as in Themler.

If I have for instance service pages, that i want each service page to look with the same header and footer, and also have breadcrumbs, I currently can't do it.

Actually I checked the posts custom templates and it works exactly as it should on what needs to be the page template..
The only problem I can't make a new page that will have the look I want and also have the dynamic title and breadcrumbs element.

This is very simple to do in Themler and you already have this element for posts, you only need to make it the same for pages, or or perhaps add the option to add dynamic title and breadcrums to custom templates also and this will fix it I assume.

If you have any other question please let me know, I want to help you fix this..

Indeed, breadcrumbs can be added only for the Blog Element on Nicepage. We will take into consideration adding breadcrumbs for all Pages and Templates. Unfortunately, dynamic titles are not presented on Nicepage.

Just a follow-up. If you create some Pages in Nicepage, they are already allowing you to create the whole page, so no need to use some template with the possibility to how dynamic content. Usually the dynamic content on the page template is used to show the page title and page content. When you create the whole page in Nicepage, the page title and content can be changed directly in the editor for each page.

ofcourse nicepage gives the option to tune each page individualy...
but if my client wants to upload pages and not through nicepage, I still need the option to make the page template before and let me client upload the content area of the page....

You have this already in themler...

Actually, all you need to add is breadcrumbs and dynamic page title with H1 to the custom template and than I think it will be the same give or take...

The posts added without Nicepage editor will be using the Post Template, so just design the Post template as you wish.
Also the breadcrumbs element can be also added to the Post Template.

What I need is the same but on page templates....
than nicepage will be on par with themler with these options...

I build lots of local service sites that really need this page template edit feature... Currently i am using themler but i am waiting to get this in nicepage...

Just to clarify a bit. You use WP, right? And you want to create posts and pages in WP using some other editor (not Nicepage) and you want to have two separate Templates (Pot template and Page Template) that will look different and they will be used to output Posts and Pages correspondingly?
I only wanted to say that as long as Nicepage creates custom WP pages, there is no need to have a Page template separately, but if you do not use Nicepage to create pages, then the Post Template is used to output both, pages and posts.
So in conclusion, if you use Nicepage as a content editor, there is no need to have a Page Template at all.

Hi Hella, thanks for the clarification.... from what I saw, I didn't really understand how to edit the main page template...
Also I tried adding a regular page through WP content, and not nicepage, and it didn't use the regular post template, so I am not sure how to do what you wrote....

I think if the breadcrumbs could be used as a seperate element, than you can make a page, and than duplicate it as so you want in nicepage, but currently I am not able to add the breadcrumbs as a regular element, please try to fix this, and i think it will be great!!!!!

The page created with the native WP editor should be using the Post Template, please let me know what exact parts of the Post Template you cannot see on that page.

Breadcrumbs can be added only in the specific templates, we'll consider your suggestion for our wishlist.

Thanks Hella, in this case, the best approach is to put the breadcrumbs as a universal elements, this way you can really make a page and than duplicate it....

but currently with no breadcrumbs on page, it is limiting..

breadcrumbs are cool on posts and product templates, but should also be present in the page templates...
