Ask a Question

Hi I am trialling the desktop app for nicepage and think its pretty good

just 1 question re google maps -

you can enter address or a point, but only the point asks for a developer api key, does the address use your own api key ordoesnt it need one looking at source there appears to be a key

thanks
tony

You can get the address for Google's maps, but no one knows how long they'll work.
Google cut them off last week for a while, but supposedly, they're back on.
It looks like they'll force everyone to their API so they can charge large companies.
They recommend restricting the API key, but if you do that, it stops working because Nicepage is using an old version of the javascript maps API.

Thanks for your input, had a look at google api site seems bit cluttered but managed to create a project and credential and then had to put in billing which worked at least they give you 200 USD so probably want cost anything but cancelled for now will only use it if really need to as don't like subscribing to unknowns. Google recaptcha is much better as no billing needed for it.
