I've been using Nicepage since December. The concept is excellent, but the product itself isn't there yet for more serious users. If you're a newbie and are looking to toss something up, Nicepage is a great way to build a visual design quickly. There isn't much of a learning curve as the UI is clean and intuitive. The developers put their heart into building out the program with a massive amount of improvements and updates. My issues are simple. To start, the more you use it, the more you'll discover that you'll need to make constant adjustments in areas that you shouldn't have to. Nicepage attempts to allow for complete freedom of object positioning in a layout grid. They're the only company I know to try that. If you move an object in one view, it can cause things to displace in another view, causing you to recheck each viewpoint constantly. Many of their templates are nice, but you can see objects displaced in different viewpoints before modifying the template. The program can be slow to respond or be a bit laggy. They also lack the tools needed to optimize your site for speed. Many page speed elements are in the designer's control, and many things aren't. Support is also lacking - expect something vague, blame being passed along, responses that state that they will add it to their wishlist, or significant delays. It would also be nice to see more SEO tools. Overall, I believe Nicepage will eventually hit the mark - hopefully, sooner than later.
