Ask a Question

Since a couple of days I'm not able to export my sites to FTP anymore. It worked before the last update of the Nicepage App.Now I'm getting the message:

Unable to publish to FTP Server
Code: 550
SSL/TLS required on the control channel

If I'm connecting via FTP-Client (Filezilla) and the same settings, I'm gettng a TLS connection.

So what could be the reason, that the Nicepage App can't connect? Firewall? I didn't change something in the settings afaik.

Hi Matthias,

Does the test connection in the Nicepage application work? Please attach a screenshot of the FTP settings screen and also a screenshot of the error message.

Hi there,
What I think is happening here is that when you publish your website via FTP and open your website in your browser what you actually do is run your application on your server. When your application is running you can not modify the DLLs that are in use.
