Ask a Question

My Nicepage windows desktop app seems unusable since version 3.11.0
What's happening ?
It try to reload Nicepage and error again, and again ...

For other members try to reinstall previous version :
3.10.2 is working properly, waiting the Nicepage's team to fix this issue

Thanks

Bingo ! I'm the french specialist of NicePage in France ;-) (it's a joke)
I found the issue.
I previously exported (saved) all websites (of course !) with all parameters selected with NicePage previous version 3.10
Then I renamed the folder named "NicePage" on my hard disk C:/ into "NicePage_old"
Of course when I restarted NicePage Windows App obviously it could no longer find any files
I started with another virgin folder ("you have to force his hand a little" a french expression sorry).
And now NicePage 3.11 is working properly
I just have to import website after website to see what website is wrong with version 3.11 ...

So in conclusion, the issue is coming from a file related to a saved website and probably corrupted for NicePage version 3.11

I hoped my that my explanation will help some others NicePage users and perhaps developer's team.

Have a nice day and perharps a more Nice ... Page ...

I deleted and reinstalled it, issue persisted.
Windows defender is off.
I deactivated my Norton 360 firewall and all protections, issue persisted.
I worry more and more

Hello Roland,

Thank you for the details. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling NicePage 3.11.0? Also, try turning Off Windows Defender in Windows 10, here's a tutorial on how to do so: https://nicepage.com/doc/45936/turning-off-windows-defender-in-windows-10

Please let us know if the issue persisted.

Hello Roland,
We're sorry to hear about this issue!

Could you, please, provide more details regarding the error message that you're getting? Does it appear once you opened the app or after you've clicked something? Are you able to edit your website or the error message preventing you from accessing it?
