Ask a Question

Hello
I don't understand how client licenses work.
I added a license to test, on one of my email addresses.

I didn't receive an email and I don't know how to do it, since I was able to add an email but no password. How to use this license on Joomla on Nicepage?

Hi Frédéric,

Please now open nicepage.com and create a new account with that test e-mail. Then you will have login and password. Use them in the site to edit the content.

I tried to make a client license...... for my new client website

Do i need to go Sign In ? Then i need a password

Or do i need to register ? after fill in emailadres client en new password i get into a new account.
i need to confirmed the emailadress.
I don't see anywhere under licences that i get a borrowed license

Can i design in the windowsapp with nicepage the website with my master-account and import it in the client website, or do i have to design it with log-in as client ?

Hi Ronald,

The usual flow with the client license should be the following. You create the project in your desktop application using your master license that you have purchased. Then You can upload the theme to the user's site, edit the content further on the live site using the plug-in. Log into the plug-in with your master license also. Then when you proceed the ready site to the customer, add his e-mail in your Client Licenses and the client will need to register with that e-mail on nicepage.com. After that the client will be able to log into the plug-in on his site and edit the content. You do not need to use the license of the client on the site, use your own.

Hello kelly286,

Client Licenses could be used only in CMS, you could check additional information about the Client Licenses here.
Also, we have in our roadmap the Content Editor feature which will give your clients a special login into the Editor.

Hello,

The Content Editor sounds amazing, I cannot wait!
I just have a question: can I just give my client the Nice Page theme I have created and exported from the desktop version, and let them install it on their WordPress?

If so, what is the path to follow? Will they need to install the Nicepage Plug-in and then install the theme I have created? Will they be able to edit it? Thank you for answering,

Sofia

Hello Sofia,

Please check our documentation on how to install the Nicepage Theme. It can be installed as any Theme for WordPress. Go to Appearance >> Theme >> Add New Theme
https://nicepage.com/doc/67768/update-wordpress-theme-from-app

Not necessarily with the Nicepage plugin, but they won't be able to edit it.
