Can't upload the favicon

Not open the browser windows to locate pictures, I have the same situation.

I have same issue, the button "Upload Favicon" doesn't work.

Today I updated the software to V1.0.156 still the same problem with upload the Favicon. The Upload boton is not open any windows to browse pictures.

New V1.0.156 seems to work. Windows explorer opened.

Looks like the issue happens when you open Site Settings from the editor. I've asked our developers to check this issue. In the meantime, please try opening Site Settings from the Dashboard. in this case, the button works ok on my side.

I am having the same issue. The settings tab from the dashboard lets me upload a favicon but as soon as I click done it disappears again. Please assist.

Does the issue happen with all projects or with specific project/icon only?
Could you please create a new private topic and provide the problem website exported as Project and favicon.

Yes the issue is on specific project https://eggerus-transport.eu/
The project has 6 pages (2 pages on 3 different languages - german, bulgarian and english)
on German: Home DE and Transportanfrage
on Bulgarian: Начало and Онлайн заявка
on English: Home EN and Transport Inquiry
The favicon appears only on Home EN

Hello Petiofi,

Favicon file in png format is there with your nicepage -images folder. Please add your favicon as ico format to the root file Joomla folder and check the pages created with Nicepage with preview. Please note that the file should be named exactly as "favicon.ico".

Regarding to favicon issue, whre finally it should be stored?

Is it the right method to create favicon.ico and copy in the root of site, but not in root/templates/?

I tried the same, but it not works for me and the advice of Support team was to try favicon.ico in root directory. This is not a solution to the problem but a workaround.

Hi Petiofi,

You should add the favicon in Nicepage Desktop application in the Site Settings >> General tab. Then export the theme and apply it to your site. Also your site should be using the Theme Template for the pages created with Nicepage. In other case the header in your theme won't be having the link to your favicon.
If you still have issues with this matter, please explain in more details what you have done and provide a link to the page where it does not work.
