Setting up a google analytics ID

Thanks for using Nicepage! You can easily adjust the Google Analytics for your Nicepage theme and export it to your site, the Google Analytics ID won't disappear. Also, if you work on Joomla, it is possible to set it up on the Nicepage plugin.

HI - I understand how to add the google analytics ID in the NIcepage theme - and then export it to my site. I do work on Joomla and not sure what you mean by setting it up on the Nicepage plugin? In the backend of Joomla, when I open a NP article, on top, under theme, there is a "Site Settings" pop up window. Are you referring to that?

Yes, the Google Analytics can be adjusted in the Site Settings, in the Google menu. It is available for Desktop version, Online version, and the Nicepage plugin for WordPress and Joomla.

How can I add the code to a specific page like a "Thank you" page. I'm using Google ads and would like to only track when the customer clicked through without wasting clicks ($$) on the other pages.

Is this possible?

Hi Paul,

I removed the Google anaytics ID in the desktop saved it. Exported the theme and uploaded and activated it on the website.
When I deactivate the script that avoid the css text above the pages the the unwanted css text appears again. See attachmant.
