Report a bug

Team my understanding of reCaptcha is that it should only appear on the form page or the places where we have the forms.

I’ve added reCaptcha and the icon appears on every single page be the home page, products it’s all over the place. Am I missing something?

Hi Sam,

ReCaptcha v.3 works by analyzing behavior across an entire site. Therefore its badge is shown on all pages. Google permits you to hide the reCAPTCHA badge. Here you will find detailed instructions: https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/faq

But, Google doesn't recommend to stop loading reCAPTCHA’s script file on every page. This may prevent reCAPTCHA from working accurately.
The following article explains the reason why the reCAPTCHA script loads on every page: https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2018/10/introducing-recaptcha-v3-new-way-to.html

Hi Sam,

ReCaptcha works on the whole site when you add the keys in the theme.
