Ask a Question

Hi there,
I'm trying to create static pages that have dynamic content (from blog posts)

So for example, I have a static page with a category set for "Wine" liked/disliked
i like to review wine when i got to dinners, however the blog element only allows for 25 entries.
https://codyallyn.net/home/vino/

So anything beyond the 25 is just hidden, which really sucks.
How do we get "pagination" or "Scrolling pagination" when the user scrolls further more than 25 appear?

I'm doing the same thing for my cars, past cars, special moments etc.

It would be really useful to be able to define how many posts you want visible (less than 25, for load times)
then (a more button, scrolling/load pagination, or page pagination) to keep going until said category or keyword has no more posts available.

Perhaps this is an option already, (if so I've not found it) but if it's not it would be VERY useful.

Hi Cody,

Thanks for your message. The pagination is available for the Blog Template. The Blog control is not intended to show a large number of posts. Please consider using the blog page (that uses a blog template) to be able to use pagination.

Unhelpful.

I don't want to use the the blog since it shows all entries, not posts specific to the topic at hand. (e.g wine, cars, moments, past cars, etc)

The goal is to have multiple blogs on the same word press (defined by categories), I've accomplishing this for now by using the limited 25 post elements.

I've searched google and there are hundreds of people who want the same thing.

Perhaps a feature request then? There are blocks in wordpress (non nicepage) that do the pagination/posts on static pages. But they aren't available with nicepage

I can't imagine it being that difficult to program or make possible.
