Not showing menu in Joomla

Hi,

Please find the menu module located in the "hmenu" position under the Joomla module manager and check the module Menu Assignment settings. Please use the "all pages" option. This should help.

Hello, am having the same problem of the menu items not showing in the preview and the published page but when i checked my menu module upon following the above solution, it seems i don't have the "hmenu" position. What do i do to have it on the positions list?

Please make sure that you have installed the Nicepage template exported from the desktop application and that it has the menu control added in the header.

Hello, I am trying to create a page with the (main) menu on the header. I am using nicepage Joomla plugin and creating a new page,
while all the menus are shown correctly when designing, when in preview and live site the menu is not shown, only the logo from the header. The Joomla menu has setting to be seen on all pages, on hmenu position.
I am attaching some screenshots
Could you please advice?

^^^^^^^ did this. "hmenu" was not an option so I typed it in and saved it. No change.

I have the Joomla extension on my site, do I need to build the menu on the nicepages website site builder, export then upload to my site? Is this the ONLY way to have a functioning menu in my header using nicepage?

Please advise.

Hi,

You should make a Theme for Joomla on Nicepage Desktop. Please do the following:
1. Download and run Nicepage Desktop.
2. Click on the Menu and type "hmenu" in the highlighted field.

3. Export your website to Joomla as a Theme only.
4. Install your Theme.
5. Open the "Extensions" ==> "Modules" page. Find your Menu, set the position to hmenu, assign the Menu Module to all pages and save.

Clarify please, are you using Joomla 4 and your Menu is not visible (but clickable)? If yes, try to switch Nicepage pages in Joomla to the Theme Header and Footer or Theme Template option.

I seem to have the same issue - menu is visible in the administration side, but does not show on the live page. I tried all of the above to no avail. All the other blocks seem to function properly.

You should check your jQuery (Joomla admin >> Nicepage >> Configuration) and make sure the box is checked. That is what solved the issue for me.

Everybody is having the same issue: Menu does not appear on page. They all have Joomla 4. It's a little strange, that the Nicepage Support asks everybody to have an individal conversation with them. Why don't they publish what they know about this issue?

Or is it depending on my hardware / provider? It's a mess if anybody has to go through the same individual process.
