Ask a Question

Hello Dear Nicepage Team,

I am not a pro in this stuff but I tried to build an own webpage and I think that my webpage looks quite nice. I have already uploaded it but there is a problem: you cannot find my page with keywords - just by typing in the exact name of the webpage.

I Trend to put in the meta tags in the Site settings in SEO. I tried various options... with comme, without, with meta tag, without, ... but when I put tags in the SEO keyword box they become deleted when I close it and then open it again. Normal words do not become deleted but they also do not show up or help to find the page.

It would be very very nice, when you can help me.

(Also I am German so it would be very nice if you could explain it as easy as possible :) -- thanks )

Denis

Hi Denis,

You should add only words to the SEO >> Keywords field. Please check the page source. If you see the keywords in the HEAD section then they were added properly. But we cannot say how google algorithms work and why it ignores keywords sometimes.

Hey Olivia,

thank you for the answer. The problem is, that if I type in the keyword - they keep getting deleted.

If I type them in, then close it and open the SEO >> Keyword again -> the keywords I already typed in are all gone.

If I want to type in the word water for example. How would I have to type it in properly?

Sincerely
Denis

Denis,

Please see the attached zip. Open site, site settings, there's "water." Please specify what the problem is?
You can also try to switch the fields in Theme->Site Settings-> SEO. Then click Done. Then go back to the dashboard. Reopen the page.
