That is not a bug. The export/import Project feature is available with the purchased license only (and in the first 7-day trial period with the free Starter edition).

I'm in the same boat, I was able to export to HTML..then POOOOF NOPE!
I wonder if they discovered and bug and fixed it, causing us to be locked out of exporting.

If you have removed the site from the dashboard, then yes, you will need to have a license to be also to import the exported Project.
Also note that the online editor you are using on nicepage.com site is a separate hosting solution and it requires a separate subscription. The license for the desktop application does not include the hosting solution.

With the first start, the application works in full mode to give you the ability to test all the features including the project export. Then the Starter plan is activated and you can only use features available in the Starter plan. The export/import of the projects are not available in the Starter plan.

Please consider creating the theme in the desktop application to export it as the HTML theme then.
