Report a bug

Form Contact: Failure to receive email, with message confirming sending ok
Export - HTML
Send E-mail with PHP Script
Aruba Hosting Linux
XXXXXX@yahoo.it
from@XXXXXX.com and postmaster@XXXXXX.com

Done: Aruba - test php 7.4 and 7.3
Done: Aruba - Test per la funzione PHP mail() - Ok received
Done: Yahoo - Checked spam folder
I also have an open tiket with aruba.

The thing that really worries me is that the form returns always a sending confirmation message and not the sending failure message. Grazie! Il tuo messaggio è stato inviato con successo! I have never received..

Thanks!
Luca

Nicepage export metod = HTML
Nicepage setting of form = Send E-mail with PHP Script
My provider service and my php provider= Aruba Hosting Linux
My email insert in Nicepage form = EXAMPLE@yahoo.it
Setting of Nicepae Form =
Nicepage suggestion: from@EXAMPLE.com or
Aruba suggestion: postmaster@EXAMPLE.com
What i have to use? from or postmaster? in any case I have tried them both..

These are the checks I did on the Aruba and Yahoo server side (which is my mail provider)
Aruba setting - php 7.4 and 7.3 I have tried both..
Aruba - Test per la funzione PHP mail() - it working!
Yahoo - Checked even the spam folder to be sure there is not email from the website with NicePage website instelled because the page says form sent successfully!

Can a change of permission of a file or folder on aruba ftp solve?
Aruba suggests me to use an authenticated smtp, do you have a script and a procedure ready? is there a way to use authenticated smtp on your form?
Do you have any idea to make your form work on Aruba?
Why does it always give me message sent successfully if I don't get the message?
is it a safe method? people think they're sending a message that i don't get ..
Sorry if I'm very direct but I've been trying it for 3 days, I chose nice page for its simplicity and I like it very much! this form is the first real problem and it only has two settings it's that simple but it doesn't work ..
If the problem is Aruba can you suggest to me what i can do? since i'm trying them all .. i'm ready to try other ideas because i finished them ..
Thanks Luca

Luca,

Unfortunatley, we do not know how Aruba works, you can also try to use the Custom Form Action,
Maybe it will work for you better

Thanks anyway, I'll find a way ..
I think aruba is the largest hosting platform in Italy, I'm not saying to think about aruba to build the installed form, but maybe have a section dedicated to aruba hosting can be nice..
A script ready to download and customize, some information, and solution.. you also have nicepage in Italian! well i'm sure you can do! ;-)
I'll let you know if I find a solution before I start studying how to build a script that works.
7 day 1 complete and nice website almost done .. 3 days still in the form truble ..

Hi Allen,
After talking to 3 Aruba operators and testing after testing for a long time, this is a solution. I hope it is useful and maybe it can also be a solution with other service providers.. and i hope no one gets involved like this, if you want to extend my subscription year, thank you.. ;-P

If you have an Aruba hosting you also have pre-installed php mail which is called postmaster@domainname.com if you have activated your email as info@domainname.com you can use it.
Now go to NicePage, go to the form, go to submit, Send email with php script, in the e mail address field write postmaster@domainname.com now you are receiving the subscriptions of the form on the Aruba mail.
Now go to https://webmailbeta.aruba.it, log in with Aruba credentials, go to settings, forwarding and automatic reply, activate it, put your email, put the fleg on (save a copy of the messages forwarded in the inbox ) and save. done!
Test the form and check that everything is fine ..

Not necessary but suggested:
in the (from) you can put postmaster@domainname.com to reduce the risk of spam blocks, the emails you receive will always have postmaster as sender.

A fast method, which however generates an email with two senders equal to the two recipients, (risk of spam blocks) is to put:
postmaster@domainname.com, youremail@yourprovider.com
(Comma space) in the middle of the addresses

Hi Luca,

Thank you for the information. The solution appears quite easy. That's why we recommend contacting the hosting provider regarding email sending. Email sending is a server-side task. It should be configured on the server and the hosting provider should provide you with instructions on how to use this functionality.
We glad that you managed to find the solutions.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
