Responsive Grid Layout

Ask a Question

Grid layout looks great except for the tablet view point. The program is keeping the grid side by side rather than switching the grid placement to on top of each other like it does in the smaller viewpoints. This creates a squished look for the tablet mode. Is there a way I can manually adjust the grid to "on top" of each other rather than side by side?

Hi Mike,

No, there is no possibility to manually set how the grid cells are adjusted in the responsive views.

Hey Hella,

It will be a good function to set how the grid rows are adjusted in the responsive views.
Hopely you and your team will consider it to add as function to nicepage.

With kind regards,
Martijn

Any Update on how to control when a grid moves a column(s) to a new row.

I had a 2 column grid. It wrapped to two rows on Tablet. Now the two columns are side by side.

ChatGPT tells me this - but I cannot find a not responsive section.

In the NicePage website builder, you can find the responsive settings for a grid element in the following location:
Select the grid element on your page.
In the right-hand sidebar, look for the "Responsive" section.
You'll see the following options under the "Responsive" section:

Breakpoints:

This is where you can define the screen size thresholds (e.g., small, medium, large) that will trigger different layout settings.

Responsive Layouts:

This is where you can configure the grid's layout for each defined breakpoint.
For example, you can set the number of columns, rows, and other layout properties for small, medium, and large screen sizes.

Colin,

Please create a separate case providing your block with the Grid and we check the layout and its responsiveness.
