Ask a Question

Hello, I recently purchased nicepage a few days ago and I think it's an awesome page builder! Very unique idea and much different from other page builders. However the lag times are making it almost unusable to build pages because there's about a 3-5 second lag time whenever I perform an action such as moving an element. I was using it locally on my desktop so my internet connection shouldn't be an issue. I also tried the WP plugin on my shared hosting and it was about the same lag time so I don't believe internet speed appears to be the issue but rather an application issue. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.
Does the issue happen on all pages or on the specific pages only?
Does the issue happen on a new blank page?
Please check the system task manager. How much free RAM is available?

I'm having a similar issue. After a while, the desktop application starts lagging about 3 - 5 seconds. I checked the memory and it uses about 580 MB of RAM and I have 50% of my memory available.

I have a Win 10 Laptop and here are my configs:

Device specifications
XPS 13 9365
Device name DELL-LAPTOP
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) ¡7-8500Y CPU <§> 1.50GHz 1.60 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points
Windows 10 Home Version 2004

Thanks,
Reggie

Terry,

We suggest to do the following:

1) Disable all antiviruses and firewalls.
2) Disable browser plugins.
3) Disable YouTube Downloader and other similar proxy browser extensions and applications, if any.
4) Please send us the Content of the Consol tab.
For that,
a) Go to the %AppData%\Nicepage\ folder.
b) create an empty debug.txt file.
c) Run Nicepage. You will run Nicepage with the Inspector Window.
d) Please open the Console Tab and copy its Content.
e) Save to a txt file. Zip and attach to this case.
5) Also run the Task Manager. Take screenshots of the Processor and Memory.

Thank you for your patience and assistance!

I saw many topic here in this forum about Nicepage is super slow but no any reply about the effective solution. I spend 2 days with patient using Nicepage with 2-3 seconds lag in every single click. This is a serious problem to make a trouble for user to spend much more time on this software.

I write this topic about the effective solution that I discovered.

1st solution. Close all the anti virus, firewall or any other software which consume RAM, CPU, Memory. This solution does not work at all :(

2nd solution. Clean up your hard disk memory. It's a little bit faster from 5 seconds in every single click to 3 seconds. Not a good solution :(

3rd solution. Like Tsu-Wu said. Solve a problem without any action is the great solution. I just no connect to the internet. This solution is great without any afford.

4rd solution. I considered the great effect of disconnect to the internet and realize that not using any fonts (e.g. Google font) which not install the located file in your computer. (Use the font with download, install in your computer only). Any font that the file is located on the internet make the whole pages in the software super slow.

I hopefully my experience would be benefit to anyone who have the same pain this such problem. No pain no gain.

Good luck :)

P.S. Dear Olga, I exciting every time you send an update emails to me. Really appreciate your endeavor on this matters. But unfortunately the accordion menu is still on the wish list for more than a years. Please consider to add this function. Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your input. I hope this will help other users. If you still have issues with the slow Nicepage performance, please create a separate topic and post your computer characteristics.

Yes, but note that if you have a PERSONAL license you cannot use fonts locally ;-(
In this case you have to connect the fonts manually in the project files...

The online editor is a bit faster than the app...
