How do I customize/change the url for a page

Hi,

The title and meta description has nothing to do with the page URL. Both these parameters you can change under the Page Settings >> SEO.
The page URL that you see in the browser address bar uses the page filename, e.g. home.html. Nicepage uses the page name to generate the page file.

But with the way you are describing, I am limited to a URL of 2-30 characters. We use long form urls for SEO purposes so this will definitely not work for us.

for example, I want to have a url that is, for eg.:
best-restaurant-steveston-village-italian-food-our-story.html

But you are telling me I can't have that?

This is perhaps a deal breaker for me as I would not be able to change over the multiple sites I have as all of them use custom urls that are ALL longer than 30 characters.

Technically, the maximum length is 2000 characters for a URL but the general consensus is to have the maximum anywhere between 74 and 255. Unfortunately, I will not be able to move forward until I have this restriction addressed.

Unfortunately, we cannot simply remove this limitation. This is primarily due to the limitations when importing content into the CMS. The shorter URLs a good for SEO too. But we added your request to our wish list.

Please enable url rename. For example (not in english language) automatic url doesnt work:
Intézmények.html - must rewrite: intezmenyek.html and page-1.html also problem.

It works. The problem was: I rename the page My sites / Page and the menu link wasn-t refereshed.
1. add perfect pagename
2. create/edit menu
3. if change page name, reedit the menu

Any update on longer urls as I can't convert my biggest client because of the 30 character limit...

We take into development a request from the wishlist first if it has a large number of interested clients, the more votes in favor of the new feature, the more chances that it will get to the developers for further implementation.

And all the way to 2026 April, that feature hasn't been implemented yet.
Just for the record, your pricing is now competitive to that of Elementor, and they do actually have more interesting and advanced features.
I wouldn't want to leave nicepage, but offcourse when there are limiting functions I can't get over, I would have to find another way out to satisfy my clients.

I have noticed so much slow fixes and feature additions. Also buggy app (site builder). Please I'd like to ask that you guys actually try to do better. Other platforms are looking really tempting at this moment.
