Responsive images on website

Ask a Question

I'm still struggling with the responsive images on the website.
When I add an image (also with the help of your instructional video), I continue to see that the image is being cut off instead of being reduced in size. I am used to filling in a percentage instead of the fixed px size. And because there is no HTML option in NicePage so that I can make changes myself in the code, it will be difficult to get it right. See example.

Hi Michiel,

If this is Picture control please check the "Fit" setting. There are two options: Cover and Contain. Please try "Contain". This should help.

Where do I find this setting in NP 3.1. I think I have the same problem. Only the header and footer are responsive.

Hi,

You can find them in the Image options in the right panel.
If you have issues with the responsiveness, please check this article:

there should be a setting where you can add several image sizes one for each screen size, so that for example, in mobile view you can use a reduced size image to fit the mobile screen, and so on...can this be done in nicepage?

Michiel,

Unfortunately, not. However, you can resize your image in each mobile view and change its zoom and cropping.
