Ask a Question

If I use the Nicepage Joomla plugin to create an article for a Joomla site, will I be able to edit that article using the normal Joomla editors at a later stage, or will I only ever be able to edit it with the Nicepage plugin?

Additionally, does the Nicepage editing plugin allow me to insert my own PHP, CSS or Javascript into a page if I am further customising it?

Hi,

The page that was created using the Nicepage plug-in can be edited only with the Nicepage editor.
And you can add your PHP code in the page using the PHP control and also additional CSS and JS can be included in the Site Settings dialog.

Just to clarify, if I install the NicePage plugin on my joomla site I won't be able to allow the ACL to manage content over different user types?

Why do you call articles pages and not make any reference in the videos, I think I might have bought an unsuitable product?

How can I list the list of articles when your pages are articles? How can I list my categories when it won't allow module positioning?

I need to act quickly as I am working on a project for a customer and don't have time to reinvent the wheel, please let me know if I can list articles, categories and menus that have already been created before installing NicePage?

Hi,

if I install the NicePage plugin on my joomla site I won't be able to allow the ACL to manage content over different user types?

We haven't tested the ACL plug-in with Nicepage but I assume that it should be working fine. Nicepage plug-in on the site allows to create new articles, edit the articles created with Nicepage. The articles that were created using another Joomla content editor cannot be edited by Nicepage.

Why do you call articles pages and not make any reference in the videos, I think I might have bought an unsuitable product?

We call them pages as in Nicepage we have pages for the content and in different exports they would be called differently. In Joomla they would be articles and in WP theme they are pages.

How can I list the list of articles when your pages are articles? How can I list my categories when it won't allow module positioning?

Do you mean that you need to show the Category Blog with your articles? Create the corresponding menu in Joomla and it will show your articles as a blog. Regarding modules, what exactly do you mean? The module positions can be created inside the theme using the desktop application:
https://nicepage.com/doc/77605/position-in-header-and-footer-with-app
https://nicepage.com/doc/76349/position-in-blog-and-post-sidebar-with-app

And inside the content (Page) you can add the existing module position, like a loadposition Joomla option:

Please let me know if you need any further help. In this case please create a new separate ticket and post the exact questions you have with some screenshots explaining what you are trying to chieve.
