Ask a Question

Hello!

With Nicepage I have done a website that is correct for mobile devices.
So that the website is also set up correctly on desktop devices, I can duplicate all the associated pages and make them accessible for desktop devices.

Now I have the problem that the links from the top menu (header) are only correct for mobile devices.
Can I create another menu menu that can only be used for my desktop version?

Thank you so much!

You should only have one set of pages that can be seen on any device, and one menu that works.
They shouldn't be separate.

Hi,

You can it's not 100% perfect, but it works.

Just go to the mobile view, select the menu and hide it on the devices you want that other menu.
You want it on the Desktop so hide the mobile menu on the desktop.
Make on the Desktop view in the header some text fields and add a hyperlink as block-anker (hide it on the mobile view).

Hope that helps you.
Greetings

Hi,

Nicepage allows inserting multiple Menu controls to the Header. You can hide one of the menus to display it in the specific modes only. But if you're working with the WP plugin and these two menus should have different menu items, you should add the second menu to the theme in the Nicepage Desktop application. In this case, the theme provides the second menu location. It allows having two menus with different items. Please note that if you plan to use a theme Header for Nicepage pages you should enable the "Theme header and Footer" or "Theme Template" option under the Page Settings in the nicepage WP plugin.

Nicepage converts the desktop page to suit different devices and moves stuff about so it all fits (mostly, but not always correctly).
What I would like to do is have one layout on the desktop a completely different page on a mobile. I would have the same page names, but just different pages on different devices.

Hello Stephen Dolphin,

Thanks for using Nicepage!

Please create a new Separate Case and ask your question in there.
For better understanding and clarification maybe we will need your private details, project details, credentials, etc.
We may need that case to be private. We will try our best to help you.

Sincerely,
George.
