Hi Reimund,
Unfortunately there is no possibility to rotate the image to the desired angle.

Why don't you rotate it in Photoshop or Gimp (the cost free programme for images manipulation) and import it back to Nicepage?

We added left/right rotate options for the Image element on the right side panel. Please try it and let us know if you have any further questions.

Why dont they INCLUDE this basic feature in the this software, instead of asking users to step outside of the program to do the simplest things???

We have added the left/right rotate options for the Image element on the right side panel. Nicepage is not a graphics editor and we cannot include all the graphic editing tools into the application.

This is a surprisingly stupid answer from the developers. The teaching is that image rotation is performed by almost any non-graphic editor. For example Word from Microsoft.

The teaching is that image rotation is performed by almost any non-graphic editor. For example Word from Microsoft.I just don't understand the resistance of the Nicepage developers to implementing the rotation of objects, images and texts into the program.
After all, you already have a beautifully crafted way to rotate objects in the hover function. The rotation effect is visible live.
Many times, when designing a page, I needed to slightly rotate the object left or right a few degrees.
I know that I can do it through manual css styles (the rotation effect will be visible only in the preview) or rotate the image in a graphics program (too long process if you need to correct the rotation angle).
So the object rotation technology has already been developed, only the stubbornness of the creators before installing it in Nicepage is incomprehensible to me.

Exactly, this is a very lame excuse!
Rotation is possible in roughly any software able to import picture, it is absolutely needed!
This being said I cannot find the rotation tool :(

Hello,
some pictures that are upright in MacOS finder and any image editing software are showing at 90° angle in Nicepage image blocs.
I have not found any rotation button on the Mac OS version of Nicepage, so that a bit annoying to say the least.
Before you jump at my throat please read below:
I think I know where the problem lies: ANY modern software reads the pictures xml and are able to determine the correct orientation of the pictures, like MacOS, Photoshop, Paint, you name it.
Nicepage obviously does not read the xml and does not manage the files correctly.
The problem is that there is NO way to rotate the photos prior to importing them in Nicepage because they all look fine elsewhere...
Please tell your developers to update this major bug.
Thank you.

update:
Nicepage not reading the xml into the pictures is the culprit.
On top of fixing this bug, implementing a rotation possibility in NP is anyway a must since it's dealing with graphics.
All software I've tries could read the xml on the fly and open the 90° tilted pictures upright.
Libreoffice saw the xml and corrected the orientation of the image in the import window but gave me the choice to correct when inserting it, see screen caps.
these are other softwares, Adobe Bridge, Microsoft Word, Mac OSX finder, all se the pictures correctly

Hello,
where is this rotate button on the Mac version, could you please provide a screen cap to help locating it?
Thank you.
Jean-Luc,
We have counted your vote for this feature.

I have slammed into this problem with the Slider. Importing a file with this picture in the correct orientation results in it being in the wrong orientation inside the slider. I see the rotate function in the Image section but not in the Image Gallery used for sliders. Any suggestions on how to get them aligned correctly?

This is really frustrating.. not matter if I change the orientation of my picture.. Nicepage upon importing changed the orientation of my photo. It converts my vertical face photo to horizontal and there is no way, I can change that orientation.
I also try to see on the right side of panel but did not find any option of left or right in macbook pro

Thanks for using Nicepage!
Please create a new Separate Case and ask your question in there.
For better understanding and clarification maybe we will need your private details, project details, credentials, etc.
We may need that case to be private. We will try our best to help you.
