Ask a Question

After importing nicepage from desktop to online, my menu has gone completely wrong.
I can see my menu in nicepage online (pic.1), but not in preview (pic.2). I have also noticed that the name of the active menu items has been changed to garbage (pic.3). This menu is the only one that actually works.
I tried adding a search box at some point, but deleted it again. This search box now appears when I go live, but not in the editor section.
I read that I should have a hmenu, but it is not found in joombla.
What have I done wrong?
Ps. I have installed the desktop version of Nicepage, but am reluctant to use it, as it has changed my menu, but also changed my page names. Now Home is not called Home, but Home (3) and I can not correct the page name.

Hi,

The "hmenu" is a module position for the menu. It should be available in the theme if the Nicepage theme installed. Otherwise, you will need to manually type the position name under the menu module settings.
Please make sure that the menu module in the "hmenu" position is assigned to all pages under the module settings.
Please note that Nicepage uses a built-in Joomla menu. You can create a new menu, a new menu module, and place it in the 'hmenu' position. It will work just like with any other Joomla theme.

Please keep us posted about the progress.
