How to Use Nicepage for Joomla

Once you created a website in Nicepage Desktop you can export it in the following formats:

• Theme. Export a theme without content;
• Content. Export Joomla plugin with content without theme;
• Theme & Content. Export theme with content and Joomla plugin.

How to install Nicepage Theme

1. Go to the Joomla Admin Panel (www.your-site.com/administrator) >> Extensions >> Install;
2. On the "Extension: Install" page choose the first option "Upload Package File";
3. Click the "Choose..." button to select the zip file from your computer;
4. Click the "Upload & Install" button;
5. Once the download is complete go to the Extensions >> Templates and activate installed theme.

How to install Nicepage Content

Nicepage exports the content as Joomla Plugin.

1. Go to the Joomla Admin Panel (www.your-site.com/administrator) >> Extensions >> Install;
2. On the "Extension: Install" page choose the first option "Upload Package File";
3. Click the "Choose..." button to select the zip file from your computer;
4. Click the "Upload & Install" button;
5. Import Nicepage content under the Nicepage menu on the Joomla Administration bar >> Import Data:
   
6. Select the plugin archive exported by Nicepage again and click "Import".
   

How to install Theme & Content

1. Go to the Joomla Admin Panel (www.your-site.com/administrator) >> Extensions >> Install;
2. On the "Extension: Install" page choose the first option "Upload Package File";
3. Click the "Choose..." button to select the zip file from your computer;
4. Click the "Upload & Install" button;
5. Once the download is complete go to the Extensions >> Templates and activate the installed theme;
6. Unzip the exported theme archive and find Nicepage plugin installation archive - nicepage.zip - inside the [theme_name]/extensions folder;
7. Install Nicepage plugin under the Extensions >> Install in the same way we installed the plugin previously;
8. Import Nicepage content under Joomla Extensions >> Templates >> template options:
   

Once you installed Nicepage Plugin or Theme with Plugin start customizing your website with creating a new page under Joomla Administration bar >> Nicepage >> New Page >> choose the desired source for the future page content:

Once you selected the source for the new Nicepage Page you can select one or more of the existing Joomla articles or choose Images only:

On the next step select one of the various ready-made designs which most closely matches your needs:

Manage styles of each Section and click "Save" button to save the changes to the newly created Joomla Page.

Close the Nicepage Builder to go back to the Joomla Admin Panel. Edit the article title and attributes and save changes.
