This video explains how to download, install, learn about the main areas, and create your first website from a design template.

You can work with Nicepage online in a browser or the desktop application. The work with the Nicepage desktop software is a unique feature. Many of our users prefer to download and install the Application.

Go to Nicepage.com and open the Download page. Click on the Download button to get Windows or Mac OS Application.

Download and Install

The download starts automatically. When it is complete, click on the file to begin the installation.

Sign Up

After installation, the Application starts with the Sign Up dialog. You can create a user account using Email, Google, or Facebook.

Starter, Trial, Activation

The Nicepage Starter Edition is free and always available to registered users. After you create an account, the Trial Period begins, and you have seven days to try all Premium Features.

If you have a Premium Plan, you can activate it in the User Profile in the Desktop Application. The Online Builder's Activation is automatic.

Interactive Tutorial

After signing up, you start the Getting Started Interactive Tutorial, which explains the Nicepage Essentials. You can always restart the Tutorial from the Help section.

Site Dashboard

The Tutorial finishes on the Home page. However, click the Sites link to the Nicepage Dashboard to create a new website.

Build a New Website

The Nicepage Dashboard has three main areas: the Top Bar, Sites, and Pages. Click on New Site to add a New Site.

Choose Site Design

You can start with a black website or a designer-made Template. To filter the list, select a category, then choose a design.

Web Page Editor

Now you are back to the Page Editor. The Nicepage Editor has five main areas: the Top Bar, Quick Access, Blocks Area with Outline, Block Editor, and Property Panel.

Top Bar

The Top Bar contains the most important operations you can perform on your project. You can search for anything, switch Mobile Views, save, Publish, Preview, and edit the Settings and Profile.

Quick Access

The Quick Access Pane lets you access your project's main areas and panels anytime. Switch Panels to view the Add Panel, Pages, Settings, Help, and others.

We will also explain each of those panels in future videos.

Page Navigator

There are two navigation options in the Blocks area: visually in the Blocks and by the structure in the Outline, next to the Quick Access to the left.

You can select and move the Blocks in the Blocks Area.

Switch to the Outline to see the Block and Element structure.

Block Editor

The block content consists of elements such as text, images, buttons, etc. Using the block editor, you can add, edit, move, and delete them.
All Blocks in Nicepage are customized with freehand positioning, giving all our users the power of creativity to implement layout ideas.

Property Panel

Click on the Elements in the Block to see its Properties in the Property Panel.

Responsive Modes

Change the Mobile Views on the Top Bar to see how your website looks on mobile devices. You can customize each View separately.

Publish and Test Your First Site

Click the Publish button to see your website live.
