I have recently had cause to import 100's of images from my live web site due to a major glitch (i.e. the loss of my json file). I had to rebuild the site again from scratch. In doing so I found a couple of major frustrations when importing images back into the desktop app. When I import from a URL, all the pictures are listed. However, I can only choose to select one at a time. In doing this, it switches back to my page editor. However, when I select the next picture to replace, the URL I entered has vanished and I have to enter it again and wait for it to collect the images again. This takes time and is a frustration. I would like the import from URL page to keep the last selection I made until I decide to change it; AND/OR, have it so that I can select multiple images to import directly to the "My Images" page.
When changing between responsive views, please could the browser window be reset to the correct size for the view in question? The reason I ask this is that I've no idea how the page will look on the other devices as it only adjusts the width, and not the height. I have a lot of pages on my site that use full page image or video backgrounds with text over them. When a page with a large text block is viewed in the mobile phone view, it automatically stretches to the hieght of my dektop screen. I therefore have no idea whether all the text is visible on a phone screen. My clients are always complaining that the sites I have designed for them in Nicepage, don't look very good on their phones. I could really do with more accurate responsive views in order to fix this. The height of a screen is just as important as the width.
Please could you make it possible to export updates to a single page? I have a 23 page site and often my updates are only for a minor adjustment to one page. It is very worrying having to export the whole site everytime. I don't want to lose my json file again during the export just for the sake of one minor modification to one page. Usually it is just a text, link, or position change and doesn't even need to export images. This could be fixed with an "Update Page" option in addition to the site export, where the page export only replaces the 3 or 4 files necessary in the existing folder and only adds images if they don't already exist.
