text to hyperlink is making a button automatically

Reinstalling the theme works perfectly, but in joomla you have to completely uninstall the nicepage theme you created first, then export the theme from your up-to-date nicepage desktop and re-install it in joomla. Simply installing the theme did not work for me, it appeared to install and I thought ok I'm good but nothing changed. When I uninstalled it completely and re-installed it the button links work perfectly. The support responses are correct, so read those to format the button like a normal html link after you uninstall and reinstall the theme.

I don't use wordpress, but I suspect the same applies to themes in WP if you are still having issues with button links.

I, too am very frustrated with this wretched button and have raised a private question.

The custom code problem has nothing to do with Nicepage links and Buttons because Nicepage Button control uses HTML link element. If you have any problems with custom code, please create a new private topic and describe the issue in details. Also, please provide custom code in the attached .txt file.

Unfortunately, the fact that a hyperlink is turned into a button has some other repercussions.

I discovered that a button does not function as it should when adding JavaScript to it in a Joomla article.
As soon as the code with JavaScript in an article is saved while using a Nicepage template, the JavaScript is stripped.

Hi,

We faced this problem when the Nicepage theme created with the old Nicepage version is used on the website. We recommend re-exporting the theme from the Nicepage Desktop updated to the most recent version and installing it on the website. It should help.

I don't know if this is a problem relating to Joomla only, but the hyperlink as a button does not display correctly in the front end

To make it worse, when there is more than one hyperlink in the text close to each other then the layout becomes really messy

Even after selecting the text only from the presets and selecting border as none, the result stays the same.

When we do this it turns it into a button and creates a mess for us.

2. Click the Text to edit.
3. Select a part of the Text
4. Click the Link Icon in the Toolbar

With a paragraph of text, if I want to make one word a hyperlink, the whole paragraph turns into a buttton.

This is not correct.

Please stop ignoring your users.

I totally agree with cm6.

I also have a problem with hyperlink text that is automatically turned into a button.
The text takes up the space of a button, and nothing is properly aligned anymore.
I had an existing page with hyperlink text and when adding another hyperlink it creates a button, now everything is out of alignment.
Major effort to try and fix, and I have not been able to fix it yet.

Please revert to hyperlink text and and let us decide if we want a button or text as a hyperlink.

OK. Don't even know how I managed to that, but yes, I was able to correct that.

As you can see from footer, it should open page
https://www.nlpkoulutus.info/social-panorama-consultant/, but instead
it opens page https://ilmonet.fi/.

The problem has nothing to do with the fact that the links inside the text control became buttons.
You have set this link https://ilmonet.fi/ for all Grid cell (which starts with the text control Suhde itseen - totta ja tarua). Please check the link settings for this Grid cell in the Editor.

If you have any other problems with links, please let us know.
