Ask a Question

new computer
took ages to get Nicepage again. multiple login issues
finally get it working but my site is not there so I need to transfer the data from one computer to the new one.

and is it possible to put everything on a NAS drive rather than the C drive

For the desktop app, it's C:\Documents\Nicepage or Nicepage Templates for exported HTML sites.
Did you save your previous project file?

but I have looked through the settings and cannot find where I can set to the default to other hard drive locations

If you open NicePage on the old computer, click Export, and it will show the path to the files.

Hi,

Nicepage Desktop application saves projects locally in the Documents/Nicepage folder. You can change the projects folder in the application under the profile >> Preferences.

Hi,

Do you mean the Projects folder? It should be empty to avoid possible projects and loss or mixing of project files. The Nicepage project is important. This is not the same as the exported HTML or CMS project. Therefore the loss of the project or its files is irreversible.
