Ask a Question

Good morning support,

I am just starting to use Nicepage. I have created one web site.
1- How does it work to have the site online.
2- I possibly am looking at 65 one page web sites for different customers across Canada.
3- Do I need to have 65 hosting sites.
4- My customers are car dealers so they have selling cars web site. Can I use their hosting partner? How would I do that?
5- I am the testing person to try to have this under one roof.

If you want we could set-up a conference call to review these questions with me.
You can reach me on August 10th at 514-924-8983

Hi,
I am also using Nicepage and I think I can help you with your questions.

  1. In order to have the site online, you need a hosting account and a domain (www.anysite.com).
When you have both the domain and the hosting account ready, then you can use the file manager of the hosting account to upload the zipped files of your site inside the public_html folder.

  2. If you create 65 sites and each of them has a different domain address, then you need a reseller account. An alternative solution is to buy one domain and use a different subdomain for each client and mini-site. Then you will need one hosting account only.

  3. If a client has a hosting account, then you can use it to host the site you will make for them. If the client wants a different domain for his new site, then he should buy it and add it to his/her hosting account. If the client does not want to buy a new domain, then you can use a subdomain (https://name.domain.com)
