Ask a Question

I want to use rectangle shape as background in part of my page, but all elements are automatically grouped with that shape. How to use it just as background element and not as group? Also, how to expand the height of the shape to the footer of the page?

Hi,

Just put the desired elements out of that shape. You can try to move them into another group element that will cover the whole area that you want to have those elements in.

Also, how to expand the height of the shape to the footer of the page?

Use the height marker for the shape to stretch it to the desired height.

That's ok, but I still need this elements to be over that shape, and this shape to be only background behind them for my design. Everytime I put elements over the shape, they automatically grouped in that shape. If I move elements in another group, but move that group over the shape, this creates group in the group (shape).

This is only my post template. I want to create background on the right side of the page and to stretch it to full content height + footer. If content is grouped with the shape, there is a problem in Wordpress with comments section position.

There is no problem. It is how Nicepage works for now. You can do the overlapping Header. However, you are unable to overlap the Footer. You can try to add the same rectangle to your Footer, resizing its width to match the one in the Post.

Thank you!

Is it possible to add some ungroup and rearrange functions to Nicepage wishlist for the future versions? Something similar to Layers in Photoshop will be nice.
