Created a page with iframe. When I open the nicepage project, the iframe is activated and I cannot return to Nicepage

Ask a Question

I created a simple blank project with a text frame and html element (which contains an iframe). The project was saved. When I reopen the project and click on the project thumbnail, the iframe is activated and the iframe page takes over my computer, not allowing me to continue editing with nicepage.

Updated information...

I tried creating a new project exactly as the previous one, except with a different website in the iframe. This time the iframe worked as expected and I was able to open nicepage for editing. Once I determined that the project was "well behaved", I changed th URL in the iframe back to the one that "took over" my machine, and it happened again.

When the website loads, it expands its size outside the boundaries of the iframe and takes up the entire screen. The CLOSE button on the browser does not function and the NICEPAGE icon in the status bar is ineffective. Attempting to closing the NICEPAGE program does not work. Only the task manager was able to close the NICEPAGE (which then closed the website).

The website that caused the problem was www.footballdb.com

Hi,

I've reproduced the same issue with the simple HTML editor and iframe with this website. The problem itself is not related to Nicepage. The website may not allow embedding their site within an iframe. This is a security measure.

So, how does a website prevent itself from loading in an iframe while simultaneously taking over the host machine so the window cannot even be closed?
