Ask a Question

I would like to import a site, which is done with the online plugin and which I downloaded to my PC via FTP.

I tried to Zip it and import, but it says "ungültige Nicepage Projektdatei"

All I need to do after the import is to alter the Post Termplate, which looks messy and learnd this is not possible online.

Thank you.

Hi Michael,

There is no option to import the theme from the plug-in to the desktop application. If you need to edit the Blog template only, then simply open your previous project in the desktop application, edit the Blog template and export the Theme only, this theme won't affect your content on the site.

I see

Unfortunatly - I created a theme with the Desktop Version and loaded into a Testsite.

Without knowing that it is impossible to export from the plugin I altered nearly everything with the plugin. Just to realize, I cannot move from one server to another.

Somehow I managed to have parts of the work on the new site, but unfortunatley I had to change nearly everything to look good again.

Now I am stuck again, because I have no good project file to work with.

What kind of solutions do you have?

Hi Michael,

Unfortunately, there is no usable solution for exporting from the plugin. You also mentioned the Post Template, which is a part of the theme. The plugin does not control the theme. As I understand, you did not keep the Nicepage Desktop project for some reason, right?
If you need the different theme settings (Post/Blog Templates), you can create the new them in the Desktop application and export it to your WordPress website.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
